I’m trying out voice input to see how it works.
-
I have a hypothesis that by practicing various voice outputs like this, it might improve my speech abilities, although I have no evidence to support this.
-
For now, I’m using the default one on Mac.
-
I tried it out briefly, but I found several inconveniences that I didn’t expect.
- I can’t perform certain operations that I used to do naturally while typing on a keyboard.
- For example, writing a sentence and immediately replacing words.
- Adding additional information after writing a bit.
- Inputting in a spontaneous and improvisational manner.
- I realized the convenience of being able to easily make endless modifications to expressions through cursor movement.
- I used to think that there wasn’t much difference between typing and speaking, but I was surprised to find that there are quite a few differences.
- It might be because I’ve become too accustomed to the spontaneous language output method mentioned above that I struggle with speech and other things.
- I wonder if there’s a better interface for text input.
- Something that allows me to output text orally while still being able to input spontaneously.
- The biggest problem with the one on Mac is that I can’t perform text operations while in voice input mode.
- If this could be solved, it would be incredibly convenient.
- The biggest problem with the one on Mac is that I can’t perform text operations while in voice input mode.
- It might be worth creating something, although I’m not masui.
- However, if this problem is solved, it might undermine my initial goal of improving speech abilities.
