If you submit your graduation thesis to an academic conference, you will definitely receive an encouragement award, and one outstanding graduation project will be awarded in each laboratory. The research funding is not highly competitive and there are multiple opportunities, so there is a possibility of passing at least one of them. It is a very good system that actively praises and enhances the image of hardworking individuals. https://twitter.com/brain_sfc/status/1457981818209071108

It is very appreciated that SFC, despite being a small campus with a small research population, offers a reasonable number of opportunities for awards and research grants. https://twitter.com/brain_sfc/status/1457981109761765376

- SFC is the opposite of curriculum standardization, or rather, it is a policy for students to create their own curriculum. It requires a considerable ability to grasp the big picture and the power to carry it out. At least, I don’t think SFC students have that level of awareness.

- In my observation, there are many students from SFC undergraduate program who go on to UT (University of Tokyo) graduate school. Considering the tuition fees of the Policy and Media Studies Program, SFC stakeholders should think about why they leave SFC for graduate school. It’s okay to make wealthy people pay, but for those who don’t have the means, it would be better to expand the scholarship system.

But well, there is no doubt that the lack of research lab assignments at SFC and the close distance with professors are the best. If you have study groups, you can take much more intensive lectures than usual. https://twitter.com/search?q=designpatterngf%20sfc&s=09

- Don’t jump into the anything-goes world of legal extremes from the beginning. SFC, along with the “Mad City University,” is a high-risk, high-return choice. As long as you are in university, you can acquire tremendous knowledge for free (if you pay the tuition fee), so it is recommended for those who can see their classmates partying and think “whatever.”
- When you go to a certain rank of university through entrance exams, the percentage of people with thinking ability, study habits, and metacognition skills increases. (Chieest)(takker)
- I can only speak from personal experience, but it seems that it will be above Tokyo University of Science. (takker)
- At Tokyo University of Science, if you actively participate in club activities and lectures, you can definitely meet the people mentioned above.
- Even among classmates, you can meet at least two or three people.
- At Tokyo University of Science, if you actively participate in club activities and lectures, you can definitely meet the people mentioned above.
- The same goes for Keio University and Waseda University, and even at the University of Tokyo, there seem to be more passive students.
- It seems realistic to get along with the serious researchers in the laboratories of these top universities.
- I can’t say anything about the situation abroad…
- Since SFC has almost no curriculum, you can create your own study roadmap about 99% of the time.
- The idea of “surroundings being filled with serious researchers” seems tough in Japanese universities, and at most, it is the reality that they make up about 30% even within each laboratory.

https://twitter.com/Masaki_ponpoko/status/1311988006912368641?s=19- I recently realized the greatness of national universities where you can take as many credits as you want if there are classes you want to take. (At Keio SFC, you can only take up to 40 credits per year + free credits)
-
Is that so? (takker)
- Rika University allows up to 49 credits per year.
- However, they grant the right to exceed the limit if the GPA is above 3.5.
- However, taking more than 49 credits per year will make it difficult to keep up with regular review and may lead to failure (based on personal experience), so it’s better to carefully consider whether to cram or not. (takker)
- Well, I feel like (blu3mo) can handle it with his processing ability.
- It’s better not to write anything irresponsible.
- I see, I didn’t have this perspective. (blu3mo)

- I personally support SFC’s AO admissions, and I summarized the structure of the statement of reasons.
- Honestly, I can’t say much because I only have a sample size of 1, and AO exams are not something that can be reproduced, so I can’t say much, but please use it as a reference if it helps.
- The deadline for the second term is tomorrow. I’m cheering for you.

- The research theme set in the AO exam is a product of knowledge and experience up to the third year of high school, and it is also a compromise point after matching with the desired university. Don’t be bound by that and do what you love, and enjoy the greatest period of your life.
- Especially at SFC, you can’t do systematic lectures. Successful applicants are assumed to already have sufficient expertise, and the focus on campus is on practice, research, and the emergence of diverse talents. Study hard before entering and strive with the intention of joining a research group from the first spring. I think the value of 1.3 million yen lies in the research group.
- So, it’s assumed that you have self-studied university-level expertise by the time you graduate from high school. That’s quite tough. (takker)

- The drawback of SFC is that there are many boring introductory-level omnibus classes due to the system.

- What I really wanted to learn at SFC was how to combine existing academic fields to achieve my goals, but I couldn’t learn that.
- To do something new, you need to cross traditional academic fields, observe from the outside, and then deeply select and integrate several fields.
- For example,

- (blu3mo) Definitely.
