Title: Draft
-
In this document, I want to discuss the overall design of the application for studying abroad, combining various elements.
- I also want to consider if Each Element to be Submitted Should Support Each Other is achieved.
- How can we create consistency?
-
It’s difficult to put together a puzzle when each university has different Supplementary Essay requirements.
- It’s challenging to convey the same message to all universities through CommonApp.
- It would be helpful to have a spreadsheet for Supplementary Essay.
-
In other words,
- I basically want to convey everything through CommonApp 650 + recommendation letters or MIT + recommendation letters.
- Recommendation letters are important.
-
How can I convey Myself as a person?
-
Personality that Prefers New Discoveries
- Exploring New Models through Implementation
- The ability to perceive challenges optimistically (mentioned in Professor Takamatsu’s recommendation letter).
- I want to convey this in my CommonApp Essay.
- The sense of excitement, perhaps?
-
Analytical
- Maybe I tend to over-analyze things.
- The process of applying for college, as seen in Scrapbox, also reflects this characteristic.
- Grasping the Type of Supplementary Essay and the table of Supplementary Essay, for example.
- I enjoy doing that.
- However, I don’t consider myself to be utilitarian or purely logical.
- I Want to Consider and Pursue the Fundamental Evaluation Function of Life
- No Need to Rush
- 5f6d46fe79e1130000607356
- I want to understand these concepts better.
- (I haven’t really thought of these characteristics as my own before.)
-
Introverted aspects
- Impostor Syndrome → I have resistance to confidently speaking out loud
- The transformation from there.
- I need to show that I’m different from the stereotype of being “sensitive” (according to my mother).
-
I Want to Consider and Pursue the Fundamental Evaluation Function of Life

Things that might be overlooked (it would be good if these could be covered in recommendation letters, etc.):
- The fact that I have been involved in CS for a long time.
- I also have achievements in this area.
- The fact that I was born and raised in a somewhat rural area (suburbs) of Saitama/Gunma.
- I feel like it gives me a different identity from private school students in Tokyo.
- The fact that I have been involved in rapid prototyping projects.
- I have had experiences where I consistently progressed from planning to implementation rapidly.
- (Hackathons/Career Koshien/Midtown+cards/GKADC)
- For example, the Poker Chip Management LINE Bot, where I mentioned quickly implementing solutions for small problems in daily life.
- (Also in GKADC)
- Indeed, upon closer inspection, it seems that the aspect of creating things was not included in my application (blu3mo).
- Thank you.
- I have had experiences where I consistently progressed from planning to implementation rapidly.
- The fact that I have been involved in CS for a long time.

-
What experiences do I want to convey? (It would be a waste to omit these)
- Mito
- At the very least, it is mentioned in Professor Inami’s recommendation letter.
- However, I’m unsure if it can be mentioned in the supplementary essays.
- GKADC/CCC
- At the very least, I want the school counselor to mention it.
- But I also want to mention it in the supplementary essays, especially in relation to leadership and community involvement.
- Mito
