Why do we do it/What’s interesting about it?
-
Living in big cities like NYC, Tokyo, or London, I’ve noticed that when it comes to choosing tourist destinations, what I value is not “strength” but “uniqueness” (?)
- For example, when I used to live in Saitama, I felt the value of going to places in Tokyo where there were many shops to go shopping.
- However, when I’m in NYC, I no longer feel the need to seek out such things in other cities.
- Maybe NYC is stronger in terms of the general measure of urban strength.
- City dwellers have a sense of ease (laughs).
- Even if there’s a small contemporary art museum, it’s fine because I can always go back to MoMA (blu3mo).
- (However, these places tend to have themes related to the city, and even if you go, it’s still fun (blu3mo)).
- Instead, I’ve started to enjoy things that are unique to those tourist destinations, like the people or places that you can only find there.
- I think it’s great to be able to enjoy a variety of criteria~
