For about a week, things were going smoothly, but recently my rhythm has been disrupted and I haven’t been making progress.
- Deadlock by multitasking
- /villagepump/Hell of procrastination driven by impatience
- I should reorganize my plans.
- It seems better to clearly separate tasks based on time and day.
- It’s tough to think about what to do every day when there are multiple types of tasks.
- If I do things based on my current mood, I’ll end up neglecting EE, etc.
- After Kyoto, I only have one week left.
- Time allocation (8/7~8/22)
- Morning: Tackle my reading backlog
- 7:30 AM to lunch: Test preparation
- Lunch to dinner: EE/Cards/Research/Exam preparation
- Dinner onwards: Test preparation
- Things I need to do now
- EE
- IB study
- Phys
- I should have a decent understanding overall, so I have relatively more flexibility.
- Math
- I’m almost done covering everything, so I have some room to breathe.
- Chem
- I still have a lot to cover, so I don’t have much room.
- Hist
- I haven’t outlined anything yet, and it’s just as urgent as Chem.
- For now, I’ll focus on solving past papers for all subjects from 18th to 21st.
- Phys
- Cards
- CCC
- Other long-term tasks
- SAT
- Essay, recommendations
- Time management
-
Things I need to do (roughly) (goals as well)
- Application preparation
- Yagyu essay
- University of Tokyo recommendation
- Overseas university essay
- National Center Test preparation
- For Math/Phys, solving past papers might be a good way to take a break.
- For Chem, study alongside and focus on understanding the key points for the National Center Test.
- For Classical Chinese and Classical Japanese, I want to do enough to understand what to do with past papers.
- For Ethics and Political Science, read through everything and finish about half of the memorization work.
- SAT preparation
- Maybe I’ll try solving Barron’s practice tests.
- IB Exam preparation
- Be fully prepared, to the point where I can sleep through the first week after summer vacation.
- For science subjects, the plan is as follows:
- In the first half, eliminate any uncertainties and build confidence in all parts.
- In the second half, solve mock exams to get used to them and fill in any gaps in understanding.
- Finally, as the mock exams approach, review comprehensively and remember what is essential for each subject.
- Comprehensive coverage is important.
- Since I should have written down everything important in my notes, it would be good to solve the problems while referring to them.
- I want to go through the note problems multiple times and memorize common mistakes.
- The model case is the math from my first year of high school.
- Also, there are Cambridge’s Practice Questions, etc.
- EE
- I want to bring it to a point where I can get the necessary points without delving too deep.
- Application preparation
-
Things I want to do
- Resolve My Bookshelf (I’ve been piling up books since the online period, so I really want to start reading them)
- Cards
- Research on temporal relationships
- Watch movies
-
Things to do during the morning activity on (momeemt)
- Tackle my reading backlog
- But this doesn’t seem too difficult to make a habit of, as it’s a motivating task with Spontaneous.
- Well, it might be good for a good start.
- Also, it seems difficult to wake up early for tasks that I’m less motivated to do, so tackling my reading backlog is good enough.
- Once waking up early becomes a habit, I can do other things as well.
- Like studying Classical Japanese (which I don’t really want to do).- https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/176jnpM-TAAi8flueSw9W51VsQ2iLlBf_mXASBOLZ51o/edit?usp=sharing
