What are legal propositions?
- Legal propositions: the media of words and the formal formation through it.
- Four types: contractual clauses, rules by legal scholars, norms established by judges, and laws.
- According to the theory of Legal System Theory, they correspond to “programs”.
- All four patterns are based on words, and that’s the point.
- These propositions are considered “second order” because they observe social norms and translate them into words.
