(axokxi) and I were discussing various things.
-
What: Abstracted concept axis (the word itself is an abstraction)
- Where: Spatial axis
- When: Temporal axis
- Who: Axis of personality
-
How: Concrete graph of the intersection of two axes
- Perspective and media are necessary for concretization
- Why: a special case involving time within how
- When how is abstracted into words, it becomes what, when, where, and who
- Example:
- The movement when throwing a ball can be explained by what and when (temporal and spatial axes)
- When abstracted, it becomes an answer like “parabola” for what
(axokxi)
-
When how is abstracted into words, it can be expressed as what/when/where/who
-
Why is the causality of how
- Everything in the world is a result of phenomena (why)
-
why → how ≒ what/who/when/where
-
The distinction between what/who/when/where is arbitrary
- It is possible to consider inanimate objects as who or space as what
-
It’s interesting that why, which is the essence of the world, is measured in relation to how
- (Perhaps because humans have deductively explained science?)
- (I wonder what would happen if we created language from a god’s perspective (inductively from why))
