A brief introduction in 16 lines:
- I enjoy contemplating abstract ideas, coding, and creating things.
- I am majoring in Computer Science and minoring in Philosophy at Columbia University in NYC, USA.
- I am interested in how computers serve as interfaces between people and things, and the communication aspects of Human-Computer Interaction (HCI).
- Specifically, I am intrigued by the communication that occurs when sharing subjective time experiences similar to Virtual Time.
- Previously, I developed an online teaching platform called /kineto based on this concept (iOS/Mac). (Untrodden 2020)
- Recently, I have been implementing an environment where asynchronous voice communication based on the same concept can take place.
- I have detailed this here: Virtual Spacetime: Model, Technology, and Applications of Spacetime without Physical Constraints
- 💭 Values
- I aspire to “Living in a Way that Clears the Fog of the World”.
- Regarding my life, I believe in “That’s Also Life” and “Is it happiness to affirm the current situation and aim for gradual progress?”
- I hold an optimistic view of technological progress and the future, akin to having faith.
- 💓 Interests
- I am fond of the GPS life logging app called The Mist of the World and highly recommend it to everyone.
- I am a heavy user of Scrapbox (PKM) and enjoy exploring and experimenting with tools that can be used as an external brain.

(The following is still rough but will be refined eventually)
- Content is expected to be present.
👀 Interests
- Abstractly, I am interested in the cycle of implementing and experimenting with new things and then contemplating abstract concepts based on that.
- Currently, I am particularly interested in the communication between individuals based on the subjective perception of reality.
- If we perceive communication as connecting subjective realities, then aiming for smooth connections seems beneficial.
- I am working on writing content with this kind of sentiment, WIP.
- Virtual Spacetime: Model, Technology, and Applications of Spacetime without Physical Constraints
- Specifically, I am interested in the communication methods under a relative sense of time perception.
- Time perception becomes subjective and relative, differing from the traditional “everyone sharing a linear timeline” approach.
- However, much of the existing research is focused on an individual’s perception of time.
- I am interested in the interaction between entities (primarily humans) perceiving time in this environment.- For instance, traditional synchronous communication assumes the sharing of time, which may not be feasible in a context where relative perception of time exists.
- If we perceive communication as connecting subjective realities, then aiming for smooth connections seems beneficial.
- Therefore, by leveraging the mechanism of Elastic Synchronization, we are implementing a prototype of a new voice communication system that is based on the relative perception of time.
- Additionally, a collection of pages accessible from Exploration of Virtual Time summarizes the ideas and experiments we have considered so far.
- There is also an interest in using computers as an External Brain to enhance intellectual capabilities.
- Collaborating with a friend to improve the concept of a Knowledge Base that refines the Semantic Desktop.
- Original concept: Protocol & Interface for Connecting Various External Brain Services
