I met someone from CMU who was visiting Columbia and listened to their story.
- It seems that during the second semester of their first year, they intentionally reduced their classes and used the extra time to travel to various universities and cities in the United States.
- They traveled to universities all over the country during the semester and breaks (MIT, Columbia, Caltech, Berkeley, etc.).
- They approached strangers at each university and made friends by being introduced to acquaintances in a chain reaction.
- By actively seeking acquaintances of acquaintances, their circle of friends grew exponentially.
- They also approached strangers in the city or at cafes.
- I heard various stories, and I thought it was an amazing experience.

Considering Why go to a university in the United States, I definitely want to do this (blu3mo)(blu3mo)(blu3mo).
-
Since it is more socially acceptable than in Japan, I want to develop the mentality to do such things (blu3mo)(blu3mo).
