Managing Todo with Full Google Calendar Integration
- from axokxi
- Register all tasks like this at the beginning of each day
- Divide tasks into one-hour intervals
- If you don’t feel like doing a task right before it, swap it with a later one
- For smaller tasks, create a miscellaneous task slot and put them there
- Whenever you think of a miscellaneous task, put it in that slot
- Even if you can’t achieve 100% productivity (working at full capacity for 60 minutes), don’t be too disappointed and try to do things more relaxedly
- Benefits
- No need to constantly think about what to do next
- You can see the passage of time
- Pomodoro technique also had some effect in this regard, but if you leave it alone, the timer won’t progress
-
Time Intervals
- 1 hour
- If it’s a task that you’re not very motivated to do, it takes about 30 minutes to get into the mood (you still think you have time)
- 30 minutes
- With 30 minutes, it’s hard to feel like “I still have time,” so it seems easier to concentrate
- 1 hour
-
Seems similar to TaskChute
-
(axokxi) seems to be doing this right
-
Personally, I find it difficult not to get distracted while working
- Maybe it would be good to insert a “free” slot between each interval?
