Communication in a State with the Ability to Perceive Moments Before and After
Simply put, if there is a time shift, communication between the past and future becomes impossible.
- This is because humans can only perceive “that moment.”
- What if we could perceive, say, plus or minus 10 seconds before and after?
Firstly, it is important to present good use cases for shifting time and then introduce this technology.
-
To be extreme, if we were to display all 10 seconds before and after, the audio would naturally overlap and become incomprehensible.
- It would be necessary to do some filtering there.
-
Remove the instantaneous nature of time as mentioned in The Ambiguity of the Difference between Virtual Time and Space.
-
As mentioned in Partially Blended Realities: Aligning Dissimilar Spaces for Distributed Mixed Reality Meetings, for example.
