Chair Consideration 2021

• Budget

  • It’s barely enough to get a used one for 20,000 to 30,000 yen.
    • I was thinking that, but why is that when I think about it calmly?
      • It’s not like there’s a limit to the money I can spend each month.
      • It’s just that my savings will dwindle.
    • I could technically afford a 100,000 yen chair, but I’ve convinced myself that I can’t spend that much money.
      • Well, I don’t really want to spend that much on a chair anyway, so it’s fine.

• Where to Buy

  • Mercari?
  • There’s also a place called Office Busters.

• Options

  • I want armrests.
  • High back.
  • I probably don’t need a headrest.

• I want to pick out two or three chairs to aim for on Mercari/Office Busters and buy them if I find them below this price.

• Thoughts while trying out various chairs at IDC Otsuka Furniture

  • Okamura chairs seem to suit me well?
    • I couldn’t figure out the Baron Chair because of that weird thing on the back, but Contessa and Silphy were good, so I assume Baron would be good too.
  • Tried the Aeron Chair, but it didn’t impress me much.
    • I guess I have to adjust it to fit me.
  • Headrests don’t seem to align well with my height.
    • If I buy one, an adjustable one is a must.

    • I use an Aeron Chair, so I want to know how it compares.
      • I’ve never used a chair like the Aeron Chair, so I can’t say anything… (blu3mo)
