  • Since I don’t want to die, I have decided to start jotting down near-miss incidents.

  • Bicycle

    • At the intersection next to the convenience store near my house, I almost collided with a car when turning the corner without noticing it.
    • While passing in front of the post office, I didn’t notice a car coming out of the parking lot. It could have been dangerous if the timing was off.
  • Car

    • While driving slowly on a narrow road, I suddenly decided to turn left into a parking lot
      • I hurriedly turned left after deciding, so I only had a moment to signal and didn’t check the mirrors thoroughly.
      • As a result, I almost collided with a bicycle.
      • In situations like suddenly turning when seeing a convenience store while driving, it is better to signal so that others can understand your intention to turn and wait for a moment.
    • When changing lanes
      • Once, when I tried to change lanes, I was honked at.
        • I still don’t understand what I did wrong.
        • I signaled, checked the mirrors to see the car clearly, and waited a bit, so I feel like there wasn’t any issue.
