  • Until then, you must light a fire in the darkness. You must fill the emptiness of the night sky. We are all insignificant, and the universe is vast. However, a universe where the voice of “being here” resonates is far more precious than a silent universe. Even though a single voice may be small, the gap between “0 and 1” is as large as the gap between “1 and ∞“.

• I like the fact that it was said by an alien life form (extraterrestrial) that does not share a Language with us.
  • Is this mathematics as a universal language?
  • I think this would be understandable to anyone, or so it seems.
  • It seems like nothing is really shared, not even a language.
    • The extremely low temperature might be because it is safe no matter what temperature the sender’s home star has.
      • The sender might be a life form for which the melting point of metals is the standard.
      • In fact, for example, on Titan, ethane exists as a liquid and forms seas.
• However, it doesn’t seem like this would be understood by someone who doesn’t know about SCP.
  • Lack of context.
  • It’s difficult to convey this to someone who doesn’t know about how easily the world can be destroyed in the SCP universe.
