Squashing Function

  • Any function that satisfies the conditions ${\lim }_{x\to \infty }\sigma (x)=1$ and ${\lim }_{x\to -\infty }\sigma (x)=0$ is considered a Squashing function.
• For example, the Sigmoid function falls under this category.
