3D Scanning of Schools

• I was thinking about creating a 3D model of my school using LIDAR scans, as a way to preserve memories.

• However, capturing everything would be too difficult.

• As a compromise, I came across something like this ↓, which I thought could be interesting:

  • It’s like a nostalgic bubble of memories.
    • It might even be more interesting than capturing everything.
  • We could even design the space together to some extent.
    • Like placing something nostalgic on a desk for 10 years in the future, or writing various things on the blackboard.

• Alternatively, we could do proper photogrammetry.

• I wonder if doing the Mannequin Challenge with LIDAR would become popular (axokxi).

  • I feel like it could be popular if it becomes usable on Instagram Stories or TikTok (blu3mo).
