In a nutshell, I want to continue developing the software narrative and research about pseudo-synchronous communication. I also want to utilize the techniques of discrete algorithms that I have learned as an expert in information science.

First, I will explain the development of the project and then explain how it relates to what I have learned as an expert in information science.

Synchronous classes:
- Face-to-face classes or online platforms like Zoom.
- The advantage is that it allows interaction with the teacher and other students, but there are also disadvantages as mentioned here.

On the other hand, asynchronous classes have the advantage that each individual can control the pace of learning. However, in synchronous classes, such communication becomes difficult.

There are two types of dialogues that occur in synchronous classes:
- Teacher-student interaction
- Student-student interaction

I aim to reconsider the synchronicity of these two dialogues in order to create a more effective learning environment.
Teacher ⇄ Student
- This is a simple concept.
- It is similar to when watching a YouTube Live video and using functions like rewind or pause.
- By doing so, we can control the pace of the class, which is the advantage of asynchronous classes.
- If we interpret the process of receiving information from the teacher as simply receiving and aligning the speed of receiving with the speed of understanding, it can be achieved.
Student ⇄ Student

There is no synchronicity between students.

However, if there is only this, it would be the same as watching a regular lecture video on YouTube.

It is important to have communication between students.
- Student-student communication is conducted in a pseudo-synchronous manner.
- The message from a student who is ahead in the timeline is viewed by the student who is behind.
- Since they are experiencing the same class video, it can be considered as pseudo-synchronous.
- For example, in this diagram, B’s message reaches A and C, and A is connected to C.
- Student-student communication is conducted in a pseudo-synchronous manner.

Therefore, to summarize, I want to create an environment where teacher-student interaction is partially asynchronous and student-student interaction is conducted in a pseudo-synchronous manner.

Next, I will explain the connection to the field of information science. I want to apply what I have learned in online courses as an expert in information science. Specifically, I want to use image (video) processing to extract meaningful information from class videos, and use the obtained information and the information about the time difference between students to choose the optimal way to connect students using the techniques of discrete algorithms.
