The title is temporary, and I’m looking for the actual name commonly used.
-
It doesn’t matter if experiences or whatever are Truth or not, as long as you can believe in them even if they might be fake. That’s the underlying idea.
- Originally, the title of this page was Believability doctrine.
- It changed because it became a broader discussion.
- Originally, the title of this page was Believability doctrine.
-
Expanding on this, it seems to relativize the concept of reality itself.
- A technology that diminishes the shared reality of absolute reality and allows each person to live in their own joyful reality.
- I’m very interested in this (Things I’m Interested In).
- I want to address the ethics of this in Baji Seminar Essay 1S Semester.
-
In 62977a7579e113000027570d, it is expressed as “parallel reality.”
-
Or rather, I’m not interested in reality becoming multi-dimensional, but I’m interested in treating what is generally considered fiction on an equal level as reality (blu3mo).
- In that sense, it can still be called Believability doctrine.
-
I want to know the name (blu3mo).
-
I threw it out on Discord/Twitter and got various responses, thanks. Classically, it would be around here (blu3mo):
-
@blu3mo: I’m very interested in the worldview that “the ‘world’ is nothing more than a complex of parallel realities” and I’m looking for a name for it (if there is one, I’d like to know) https://t.co/eMhCPdlbaW

Is it something like Yukuskyur’s Ringworld…?
-
(The perspective might be slightly different though)
- This might be it (blu3mo)(blu3mo)
-
@yunoLv3: @blu3mo It seems like Social Constructionism (in the sense that each person is different, similar to the concept of a ringworld or the Sapir-Whorf hypothesis?). At least, there seems to be something in the lineage of linguistic theory.
- Is it the same as Social Constructivism?
- The social constructivism I know seems to have a strong context of Science and Technology Studies.
- Why the lineage of linguistic theory?
- Is it the same as Social Constructivism?
-
Something similar has been happening in psychology recently, so this area might be good.

- Looks interesting (blu3mo)

@mariaoyama: New Realism by Markus Gabriel? https://t.co/EgNy9i7xbW
- A contemporary philosopher.
- I don’t understand anything.
- At times like this, I want to quickly build a foundation of knowledge/mental map of Modern thought so that I can understand the content (blu3mo)(blu3mo)(blu3mo)
-
If Blu3mo eventually arrives at the question of “what is the nature of realism or reality, and how do they arise” (and if you want to describe it in a scientific worldview), I think it’s good to skim through the principle of free energy.

I feel like most of reality (whether it’s perception, cognition, or social norms) can be explained by “expectations ≒ predictions and surprises” about the world.
