Sometimes, there are concepts that I come across for the first time, but I feel like I’ve already thought about them in some way.
- I didn’t know they had a name for it, but it seems like I’ve had similar thoughts before.
- It’s a common experience (takker).
- I remember reading about it in an article called “When Mr. Takker Toba Sei talked about protecting the Inuwashi of Oku-Tadami! About Life Nurtured by Dialogue with Nature” on AERA dot.
- It’s nice to know that there are already names attached to these concepts.
-
Maybe I had actually come up with the same concept on my own.
- However, in most cases, I feel like I’ve only received fragmented information about it from external sources in the past.
- I can’t prove either way.
- What does ‘thinking for oneself’ mean?
-
It would be best if I could come up with my own answer and then compare it with the answers in classical works or famous books.
- However, just reading books often leads to a superficial understanding without really engaging in the process of thinking for myself.
- Going through the process of thinking for myself would lead to a deeper understanding.
Examples of concepts I’ve thought about:
- The cybernetic aspect of systems.
- Evolutionary theory.
- Vision thinking.
- The rule of modularity.
- Occam’s Razor.
- Existentialism.
- Structuralism.
