2024 Summer is such a situation.
-
As ongoing projects, there are LabYouth, Naemura Lab, CGUI, and Fractal Summary.
- Each project is being worked on by 1-2 people.
- Additionally, there are projects related to basi, space robots, and Yanai.
-
First and foremost, it is a very obvious fact that “when there are n projects in progress, only 1/n of time can be allocated to each.”
- I feel like I haven’t really recognized this fact much (blu3mo)(blu3mo).
- It’s similar to the concept of Normalcy Bias.
- One should feel a sense of urgency about this fact (blu3mo)(blu3mo)(blu3mo).
-
So, what can be done?
- Increase the total working time.
- Improve work efficiency.
- Reduce one’s own workload.
- Collaborate with others.
- Utilize individuals where they are most suitable.
- Reduce unnecessary meetings.
- Collaborate with others.
- Improve communication efficiency.
- Respond promptly.
-
I recommend building a routine (tkgshn).
- For more details, ask Men’s Coach.
-
It becomes an overhead to think “What should I do now?” (nishio).
- If you are doing things randomly, you will inevitably end up in a situation where there are multiple tasks of almost equal priority in front of you.
- Establishing a rule like “If you can’t determine priority in 5 seconds, do tasks in alphabetical order” might make things easier (blu3mo).
