Until recently, I frequently switched between Safari, Chrome, Firefox, Vivaldi, and others.
-
In the past few years, I have settled with Chrome.
-
However, lately, I have been considering switching from Chrome to Firefox in October 2021.
- There is a group feature in Chrome mobile that I don’t quite understand and find inconvenient.
- It opens in a new group instead of a new tab (takker).
- I only see it as a slight inconvenience of needing one extra tap.
- I don’t really mind it.
- Firefox for Android automatically adds headings to tabs.
- It opens in a new group instead of a new tab (takker).
- On the PC version, it creates a Chrome account or something for each Google account, which is annoying.
- I’m slightly concerned about Chrome’s monopoly.
- I understand (takker).
- I just want a change of pace.

Update: I switched.
- However, I have encountered some minor issues, and now I’m starting to wonder if Chrome is actually fine.
- I switched without any deep reasons.
- I had the impression that it was a customizable browser, but it doesn’t seem to be that way.
- I thought I could at least change default key bindings.

Update 2: I went back to Chrome.
- Overall, I don’t have any major complaints, but there are a few small points that cause stress.
- Since I wasn’t really having any problems with Chrome in the first place, I went back.
